Time Blocking for Student-Athletes
Time blocking turns a chaotic schedule into a simple, repeatable plan for school and sports.
Being a student-athlete means having two full-time jobs. Without a plan, school, practice, and life pile up and create constant stress. Time blocking is a simple way to take control of your day instead of reacting to it.
Time blocking means giving each task a specific window on your schedule: school, homework, training, recovery, and downtime. It does not need to be perfect; it just needs to be intentional.
How to time block:
- Write tomorrow's schedule tonight
- Assign blocks for homework, practice, and recovery
- Protect those blocks like appointments
- Review at night: what worked, what did not
