Creating a Strong Pre-Practice Routine

A consistent pre-practice routine helps athletes train with purpose.

Arriving mentally ready is just as important as being physically ready. A strong pre-practice routine eliminates wasted reps, sharpens focus, and increases skill development.

Instead of drifting into practice, choose a short routine that brings intent and clarity.

Build your routine around:

  • 1–2 mobility drills
  • Reviewing a technical cue
  • A short visualization sequence
  • One goal for the session
