Travel Game Readiness Checklist
Travel games are easier when athletes follow a simple, repeatable plan for gear, fuel, and focus.
Travel games add extra variables: long bus rides, strange locker rooms, different routines. Athletes who prepare for travel perform closer to their normal level instead of feeling flat or distracted.
A simple checklist keeps players from forgetting essentials and helps them arrive ready to compete, not scramble.
Travel checklist:
- Pack gear, snacks, and water the night before
- Use the bus for light mobility or mental prep, not just scrolling
- Stick as close as possible to your normal pregame routine
- Have a plan for recovery on the way home
